Tim took up the guitar seriously in the original Summer of Love and has played all kinds of music, from bordello to stadium, with a host of artists. He has done numerous studio sessions in several continents and as a professional composer spent a decade or so writing and producing music mainly for TV in a wide range of genres. All the time in the background he was developing his own style of guitar playing which is showcased on 3 CD’s.
Tim gave his first guitar lesson in the 70’s! Since then teaching credits include…
The Guildhall Rock tutor on the summer school and occasional classes on the jazz course for about 10 years.

The City Lit Tim ran a class here for 2 years as well as at a handful of other adult education colleges.
The Royal Academy of Music A term here basically clueing up the classical guitarists on what it’s like the other side of the fence!
The Musicians Union Workshop band About 5 years occasiolly touring the UK doing performances and workshops.
ACM A term here depping at the established modern music college.

As a freelance music writer for TV and radio Tim wrote and produced numerous commercials (for clients such as Cadbury, Green Giant Kellogs, Marks and Spencer). He wrote a piece for big hit show Friends and supplied music for documentary series on Channels 4 and 5 and the BBC TV.
Tim freelanced with Yanaha for a year working with the designer of their G10 Midi guitar and demonstrating it over 3 continents including a live appearance on Tomoorow’s world, a BBC program that had around 11 million viewers.
